This handbook aims to capture the "interesting bits" of the discussions on the yahoo dbmmlist about Phil Barker's DBMM wargames rules for Ancient and Medieval Battle 3000BC - 1500AD published by Caliver Books. This is because even though there is a fairly high signal to noise ratio on the dbmmlist, the volume of messages there makes it very difficult to find useful information via the yahoo web interface at a later stage.

• Army painting tips and advice on sourcing miniatures for particular armies may be incuded at a later stage.
• Examples from actual game play  for some usual and not so usual situations that occur on the tabletop (Note, since Jan 2008 this section has been static since it might otherwise duplicate the work on the "DBMM Commentary", available at http://dbmm.org.uk, which aims to clarify tricky rules issues)
• It's Pants  - examples of dodgy play

Essentially it is designed to be a scrap-book of some of the most interesting bits from the yahoo dbmmlist where players discuss the game.
