DBMM v2
200AP, 1299AD, 1st at Alan Neil Cuchulainn Trophy 2011 by Rob Brennan
c1: 1x RCvS CnC, 3x ICvS, 1x IElS, 4x IPkX, 2x IPsO, 1 x IHdO, 3xIBtsI - 18ME
c2: 1x ICvS SG, 3x I CvO, 2x RCvS, 1x IElS, 1 xILHO - 15ME
c3: 1x ICvS SG, 1x RBdF, 2 x IPsS, 4x IHdO - 9ME
army baggage: 3x IBgeI - 3ME
The basic idea was to use the ICvS/El/PkX single deep to provide a
tough centre for the army since there was unlikely to be much foot in
the theme. I also didn't want to have a lot of LH which would be
victims for the large numbers of Cv floating about and the ElS gave me
something to scare Kn.
Then c3 could PIP swap with the CnC to feed it additional PIPs for a
general advance or the CnC could pip-swap with c2 to feed it
additional PIPs to maneuver like crazy. c3 could hold some terrain or
skirmish. Reg CnC/Irr SG PIP swapping is much more powerful in 200AP
games due to the reduced board size. The Bts were never intended to be
deployed by not taking any suitable terrain for them - unkillable
filler, mmmmm.
