I ran Medieval Sicilians at Cancon, around 1280 or so, the army of
Pere III. MY list was something in the order of:
CinC (Pere III): KnS, 12AxS Catalans, 3PsO, 2LHO Aragonese, 2 German
Wedges
Communal SG : 3KnO, 3BwX, 4SpI, 4AxS(Saracen axemen), 1LHF, 4BwO
Feudal SG : 4IKnO, 4HdO
Feudal AG : 4KnO, 4HdO
plus army and ally baggage.
The grand tactic was to have the feudal knights charge down the guts
at whatever was there, with the Catalans to hold and sweep through
terrain, with the Communal command to hold a flank.
