Concealed Command sratagem (0 points, only when invading)

This is a small but tough and mobile army, in which Command 1 usually deploys in the centre, with the other commands on the flanks. As Command 1 has Cv, I can consider either putting it on the flank, or sending one of the other commands flank marching. Generally Command 1 gets the highest PIP dice, the baggage the lowest, and the other commands average the middle two dice. I've rarely run out of PIPs.

The main tactic is to deploy the Kn wedges either side of the C-in-C, and send all three into combat together in my turn, declaring a combat brilliant stroke as I go in. The idea is that the C-in-C should win his combat, providing overlaps for the wedges either side (which also ignore overlaps against them). This makes the three elements a sort of spearhead designed to smash through the enemy line. The Bw are the screen behind which I deploy the C-in-C and his mates, as the mounted elements can interpenetrate them. The Bw also have the task of supporting the spearhead by occupying the attention of anyone who might try to hit the wedges in the flank. Their long term survival isn't that important.

Command 3, with its Ps, deploys on the flank with the worst terrain, while Command 2 tries to exploit open terrain. The Cv (S) are tough hombres, except against Kn.
