400AP, Hannibal in Africa 202BC, DBMM Lists by William Coughlan

Command 1

 1 Reg Cv(O) brilliant Hannibal

6 Reg Sp(S) Spainish veterans ( disappointed they can not be

supported by Sp(O) but that is history for you )

 6 Reg Sp(O) Libyans

 6 Irr Wb(O) Gallic Mercs.

 1 Irr Ps(O) Numidian Archers

6 Reg Ps(O) Balearic Slingers ( got to have them for difficult

terrian)

9 Irr Ps(S) Numidian Javelinmen ( to protect those ME rich Sp )

4 Reg Cv(O) Poeni Cavalry ( never used them before but we are

defending Africa )

3 Reg Cv(O) more Spanish troops

1 Reg Lh(O) Spanish once more

2 Irr Bg(F) Pack Mules ( to carry away any booty)

Giving command 1 45 ME, disheartened on 11.5, break 0n 15.5 and

shattered on 23.

Command 2

 1 Reg Cv(O) sub general

8 Irr Exp(O) Untrained elephants ( good job I did not place as they

still have the howdahs on { not modeled correctly yet })

Giving 4 ME, disheartened on 1.5, Break on 2, Shattered on 2.5.

(make sure it is the command that breaks first then ).

Command 3

 1 Reg Lh(O) sub general

 8 Irr Lh(O) Numidian Cavalry

Giving 12 ME, disheartened on 3.5, break on 4.5 and shattered on 6.5

Command 3 is to screen command 2 and as the Expendables are mounted

troops they could move through command 3 when necessary. Hannibal

also has a nice wodge of cavalry to play arround with and the

infantry can cowardly hide form everything ( blades, warband and Cv

(S) ), could even deploy one command behind the other 8 wide and

charge up the middle ( all of these plans never happened ).
